Ouch!

The throttle goes both ways - but only one of them is fun!

Ow! OW! FUCK! That bloody hurt :-(

Yep, I just slung the bastard thing down the road. It hurt.

I gingerly negotiated my gravel drive, rolled down to the end of the road, waited for a gap in the traffic, pulled out turning left, and then as I straightened up I nailed it. Milliseconds later I was head-butting the tarmac with a bike landing on top of me. Despite full leathers, various parts of me lost noticeable and painful amounts of skin - how I don't know - and lots of bits of me ache. I don't _think_ I've bust anything - though I am wondering about my right hand somewhat, of which I am suspicious; I'll see how it develops :-(. The bike is just a tad more battered than it was anyway...

A motorist stopped to help me pick the thing up - thanks mate - and when we tried to move it the reason for the stack became clear... the bastard front brake had jammed half on. I'd turned left OK, nailed it as I was going right again to straighten up in the middle of my lane, and the front wheel had just flipped out :-(. Once I'd recovered my sanity, which took more than a little while, I extremely gingerly took it up the road and brought it back on to my drive... every time the bars were other than straight ahead, the front showed a tendency to slide out uncontrollably. Very nasty! I've got to fix this before I can ride the damn thing again.

Anyway, I ache all over and I'm pretty pissed off right now...
