web pages. MYOB
publishes
two accounting and business management programs for “small businesses
positioning themselves for growth” Pegasus publishes PC-based business
software, especially for SMEs and including accounting, payroll and
ecommerce. The Digita Tax Centre is an Internet web site for consumers and professional tax advisers alike, offering customisable tools and information services.
The Accounting Web is billed as a virtual community for accountants, but offers information useful in business too. It includes a free, twice weekly newssheet, online announcements from the major software suppliers, and a directory of nearly 16,000 accountancy firms which can be searched by name or by location. You can search and download all the statutory information lodged at Companies House, get free Executive Summaries of individual market sectors and browse a useful page of links.
