In-line Content Changer

This week's Script shows you how to use inline frames to change content within the page: (you can re-size this page to suit)

The frame to the right, as you enter this page, shows you the attributes of the iFrame (in-line frame).

By clicking here, the frame will change to show you how it was actually called. Note how I've set Scrolling to "auto" - as you click the links, you'll see the effect.

If you click here, you'll see how to call the new content that the link in the paragraph above brought up. The important part to note is the "Target=frame1" part - that directs the link to the in-line frame.

You can include as many links to the inline frame as you like within a page, but be wary of scrolling! Remember, each page is a simple HTML document, like any other, so you can include anything you like in it, even pictures and links (although how useful links would be I'm not sure).
