Brand Your Cursor
A neat cursor follower can be used to brand your site, or even
show the reader when he's changed sections...
This script does exactly that - it allows you to specify a small
GIF file as a sort of "shadow" cursor that follows your
readers' cursor around. In the example page, we've used a 30x15
pixel GIF culled from the Practical PC Logo. You can, of course,
use any image you like, but we'd advise you to keep it small, and
make sure that it has a transparent background.
The code itself is very small - but note that the filename for the
GIF image is "ppc.gif" and the image must reside in the
same folder or directory as the page on which it's to be
displayed. Aside from that, it's all pretty much self explanatory.
