Prepare e-mail messages offline

Every e-mail program will allow you to compose a message offline.

Using AOL

v       Open up AOL and then click on the [Write] button without signing on.

v       Address and write your message, then click on [Send Later].

v       Sign on and from the Mail menu, choose "Mail Waiting to be Sent" and send the message(s).

Using Outlook Express (and others)

v       Start the program, and OK the error message that will doubtless appear

v       click on the [New] button.

v       Write your message. Close it.

v       Log onto your Internet service provider, open the program and click on the [Send/Receive] button.

In these days of unmetered connections, this tip might not save you any money, but it will give you the chance to reconsider a message typed in haste!
