Customise your folders in Thumbnail view

David Dorn shows you how you can make folders look the way you want them to in Windows XP

Not a lot of people know this, but if you place a file called “Folder.jpg” or “Folder.gif” in any folder, the image the file contains will be used as the illustration for the folder in Thumbnail view

That means that you can make your folders look any way you choose, simply by dropping the picture file of your choice into the folder and renaming it. Give it a go!
