Get more info from Explorer
Windows
XP has a useful facility for the “Details” view in its file Explorer
– you can specify exactly what details you want – David Dorn shows
you how.
Windows XP holds all sorts of information about the
files on your hard disks, and you can access it from “Details” view
in “My Computer”.
Simply open up My Computer, browse to
the directory you want to view, and then select <View> <Choose
Details>
You’ll be presented with an exhaustive list (see
below) which may change depending on the type of folder
you’re in. Just click on the details you want shown and select a
column size (you can always change that later by dragging the column
to the width you want.
