Stop Windows XP password nag

Every so often you’ll get a “Your Password Will Expire” notice as you log on to Windows XP. Want to stop it? Here’s how

If you’re absolutely sure that this is something you want to do, here are the steps, fully illustrated:

1.       Right click on the My Computer icon

2.       Select Manage

3.       Go to Local Users and Groups / Users

4.       Right-click on the user you want to change and Select Properties

5.       On the General tab, check Password never expires

6.       Click OK

That’s all there is to it. The nag will never reappear.
