David Dorn presents a few quick tips to speed
up your Internet experience!
You can save some time and effort by using the
keyboard to move back one web page rather than clicking on the <back>
button on your browser to go to your previous page. You can use your
<Backspace> key to move one page back.

To jump through the links on a Web page, the Address
bar, or the items on the Links bar, press <Tab>. To jump
backward, press <Shift>+<Tab> (hold down
the <Shift> key and press <Tab>
Browse Twice as Fast
If you’re downloading a file, you don’t want to
sit and watch, do you? Open
a new window to browse more than one site at a time. Press <Ctrl>+<N>
to open a new window.
Intelligent Mouse
If you use a Microsoft Intellimouse you’ve got
some nifty tricks up your sleeve.
If you press the <Shift> key, you can
move the mouse wheel up to go back to the page you last
visited and down to go forward. You can also increase the
size of the fonts on the page by pressing the <Ctrl>
key, then rolling down to enlarge, up to make ‘em
smaller. Not a lot of
people know that – but now you do!
