Practical PC - the Team
PPC’s
writers have between them amassed over 100 years of experience in
the computing field, to bring you top quality reviews and features
each week, written especially for the Web!

Publisher/Editor,
David Dorn has been the editor of: Amstrad
PC, PC Base on Micronet and Practical PC. His
beginnings in computing go way back to the mid seventies whe
he first discovered the delights of microchips and hex
displays. As he gets older, his monitors grow larger and
larger.... He's been writing about computers since 1984, but
he hasn't got a big brother.
This
picture doesn't do him justice - his wife thinks he's actually
very good looking (as does her guide dog!).
He spends some time singing in a band - check out

Dave
Cook lives near Newcastle in the North East of England.
He is married to Denise, a nurse, and boasts three
grown-up daughters, one very cheeky son-in-law, two
fun-loving grandsons (he married young!), and one
faithful but extremely whacky Springer Spaniel.
Dave now earns his living
as a freelance computer journalist. He has been writing
reviews, features, and technical pieces (even a little
fiction) for more than a decade, his articles having
been published by some of the UK’s top computer
magazines. Despite this, Dave still can’t believe that
he actually gets paid for doing something that he truly
loves. To discover more about Dave Cook, his work, and
his family, please visit www.d-cook.co.uk. |
