Garmin GPS 72.
GARMIN have just released news of
their latest GPS receiver - The GPS 72. . The GPS 72 is a low-cost solution
for land or marine navigation designed to provide precise GPS positioning using
correction data obtained from the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS). The
GPS 72 is a suitable replacement for the popular GPS12, the GPS72 offers a
large 4 level grayscale screen and a dedicated GOTO button. The GPS 72 provides
1 megabyte of internal user memory to be used for storing downloaded points of
interest data (available from the European Road & Rec CD). This 1 megabyte
of storage area is preloaded from the factory with worldwide cities
(populations greater than 200,000) and nautical navigation aids such as lights,
buoys, sound signals and day beacons.

the GPS 76 in the following ways: *Lower screen resolution (120 x 160) vs.
(180 x 240) pixels *The GPS 72 does not accept an external antenna *GPS
72 has a black case; the GPS 76 is white *PC interface cable is optional
with the "72" and is included with the "76"
