I studied 3D Glass and Ceramics at the University of Sunderland and then attained an MA in Visual, Islamic and Traditional Arts at the Prince of Wales' Foundation, London. As designer/painter to Barley Studios, York, I have found that the combined study of traditional and contemporary stained glass, and the conservation of medieval glass, have given me the necessary foundation and have contributed towards the inspiration of my own designs.

I am a stained glass tutor for the Prince of Wales' Foundation.

Recent awards include:

2004   York Foundation for Conservation and Craftsmanship. Bursary Award.

2004   The Worshipful Company of Glaziers, Steven's Competition.

Commended and awarded prize for craftsmanship.

2002   The Prince's Foundation. Travelling Scholarship.

2002   The Worshipful Company of Glaziers, Steven's Competition.

           Commended and awarded commission.
