Mel’s portfolio mainly comprises public art. Within this definition Mel includes both commercial and ecclesiastical architecture. The aim being that her work functions as a piece of interactive art seen by the widest of audiences.
Mel designs and creates contemporary architectural, ecclesiastical, secular and fine art installations in both the public and private sectors. Each piece is site specific to meet the requirements of the client and the setting of the work. Her studio offers a range of consulting, design and production services. She works exclusively to commission.
The contemporary and progressive nature of Mel's designs makes the work a document of its time. Mel's style is versatile and eclectic; it is not confined by any particular approach - this promotes artistic exploration and strength of design.
