I trained as a painter in the traditional sense with the result that my windows are quite painterly. An early commission (No 1 below) began in 1989 and this project has grown to 7 large windows - all in figurative style. In contrast however, the natural landscape has always been an inspiration to me and several recently commissioned designs are based on a more spontaneous style of painting with "nature conservation" implicit in the message.
