The Suburban Jungle

Light strikes down through haze that obscures a backdrop of thick foliage
This photograph was taken in the Palm House of The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.  It actually lies very close to the River Thames and is well within the Greater London boundary. 

The mist is generated by water sprayed through atomizer heads to maintain close to 100% relative humidity in this house.
