Mobile Operator E-Plus offers its customers a free SMS service. Messages up to 160 characters long may be entered via the mobile's keypad and sent directly to another user. The message arrives at its destination in seconds. The recipient may then read the message on the LCD display.

The idea behind the E-Gate service is to provide a bridge to the Internet for sending and receiving e-mail. It should be possible to implement other services alongside this, e.g. mailing lists to allow an SMS to be sent to multiple recipients.

• News headlines subscription option
• Current weather forecast request
• Calculator
• WWW Pages to SMS
• Car registration prefixes to City (and vice versa)
