| Previous experience |
Joined Television International as a sound engineer in
1976, having originally trained at Anglia Television in Norwich. I
later became a sound supervisor and stayed with T.V.i. until joining
Mobile Image in 1989.
During my time at T.V.i. I worked in all areas of sound
operations including studios, outside broadcasts and post-production.
I also worked within the projects department, having designed and installed
an edit suite, a studio sound control room, as well as the current audio
dubbing suite at T.V.i.
I supervised the sound post-production of the Brent
Walker series of Gilbert and Sullivan operas, and have had credits on all
four major broadcast networks. I was also sound supervisor on the Home Box
Office coverage of Wimbledon for two successive years.
My experience of audio post-production includes Drama,
Music and Sports, including Sunset and Vine's own Gillete World Sport
Special.
